Hannah got a new bike for her 5th birthday. Cameron went to the store to buy it and brought it home during his lunch hour. My favorite is him on the cell asking if her should get the 16 or 20 in bike. He was afraid she'd grow out of the 16 in too soon, but he 20 in would be too big. He's so logical, but finally decided on the 20, and if it was too big, he would take it back and get the smaller one.
My favorite picture. She was so excited when she came out the door she jumped up and down a few times. I just happened to get a good shot of her in the air.
Success! It took a few minutes to build her confidence that she could get on the bike, let alone ride it, but as you can see, she did it. I spent the next week trying to keep her home. It has become apparent that when you learn to ride a big girl bike that you become a free soul. She loves riding over to her friends down the street and feeling so big when we all go for a ride together.
