Grandpa Herb

Most of our town is filled with the cutest and sweetest grandma's and grandpa's and we have been adopting them since we moved in. One of our favorites is our soon-t0-be neighbor Grandpa Herb. He has been so sweet to plow our lot, spray the weeds and let us use his tractor to do our major grunt work over the summer. He also loves our kids and they can't wait to go to his house where he always lets them pick a "sodie pop" out of his fridge. We love him.

Well, over the last month he has been working on the field behind our house, first to put cows in, and now he's getting it ready for next spring. James and Hannah have been dying to go for a tractor ride and practically drool every time they see him out working. A couple nights ago he was plowing and the kids ran over to the fence to see. They were so happy when Grandpa Herb stopped his tractor, jumped out and asked them if they wanted to have a ride. You've never seen such excitement. He took both of them up and down the row, and you've never seen happier kids. They had so much fun.

Here's a few pics of my kids and Grandpa Herb.
